FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
HOW OLD SHOULD MY CHILD BE TO START RHYTHMIC GYMNASTICS?
Any age is suitable to start Rhythmic Gymnastics. If your child has a dance, ballet or gymnastics background this is favourable. We have gymnasts as young as three in our tiny tots class.
DO YOU OFFER A TRIAL LESSON?
Yes we offer one trial lesson and kindly request you pay for this lesson.
WHEN DO CLASSES RUN?
Every Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday we have classes for beginners to advanced levels.
WHAT DOES MY CHILD WEAR?
We have an Elite fitted top, fitted shorts and long tights available for purchase. Please wear fitted black clothing appropriate to the season. Socks or toe shoes must be worn. Hair must be tied back in a pony tail or neat bun. Please bring a water bottle.
DOES MY CHILD NEED TO GO TO COMPETITIONS?
There are many friendly and competitive events that we encourage all gymnasts to participate in for growth and experience. We also have school fetes, shows and galas throughout the year which we highly recommend for all gymnasts.
WHAT IS THE END OF YEAR GALA?
Our end of year Gala is the most exciting performance of the year. All athletes will be showcasing a variety of routines, modern and folk dance as well as other performances in many colourful costumes using a variety of props. Families, friends and the community are invited to support and celebrate our end of year concert.
